Founded in 1947, the Pasadena Casting Club is a group of fly fishing enthusiasts dedicated to the art of angling and casting, conservation, education, catch and release philosophy, and camaraderie through Club meetings, outings and events.

PCC Mission Statement


To educate both the membership and the general public in scientific methods of fly fishing and tournament casting.


To promote conservation projects which will aid in the protection and propagation of game fish.


To assist in the promotion, maintenance, and protection of fishing habitat.


To encourage the use of sporting lures and equipment and to discourage the use of unduly destructive lures, baits, and fishing methods.


To promote the doctrine of a restricted catch, preferably catch & release, and generally to maintain a high standard of conservation.


To promote interest and competence in tournament or contest casting.


To promote social relations among its members and to fraternize and cooperate with other clubs, associations, and organizations similar in their respective aims and purposes.
