PCC Trip Schedule

SOARING EAGLE LODGE - NAVAJO DAM, NEW MEXICO
(48 Road 4370, Blanco, NM. 87412)
  • 5 night river front accommodations (2 to a cabin) including all meals with 4 days guided fishing (2 to a boat)
  • Trip capacity 8 members
  • Arrival after 3:00pm Saturday,  June  5 / departure after breakfast - Thursday  June 10
  • Trip cost including tax and PCC member 10% discount = $2731.73
    • Deposit required by January 15, 2027.
         Please prepare check in the amount of $1,365.00, payable to Soaring Eagle.

    • Upon receipt of your check I will confirm your reservation via email.  Remaining balance due upon checkout / personal check or major credit cards accepted. 

 

**This is a first come, first served trip. If you wish to be included, ASAP email Ron at escueautopro@aol.com to request and hold your reservation.  Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of your deposit.  Additionally, a time & date wait list will be created. Failure to provide deposit by January 15 may result in reservation cancellation and notice of  trip availability to the next wait list applicant.**


TRIP INCIDENTIALS 

  • New Mexico non resident  5 day fishing license can either be purchased on line (New Mexico Dept. Of Wildlife) or locally in Navajo Dam. A habitat stamp also required. Presently cost for both is $40.00
  • The nearest commercial airport is in Durango, CO., about 1.15 hours away/ major car rental agencies on site
  • About 45 minutes from the Durango airport on the road to Soaring Eagle, located in Ignacio, Colorado - a local grocery with a very well supplied liquor department. Soaring Eagle lodge is "dry," please plan accordingly.
  • For those driving from So Cal - figure on 12.5 hours 
  • 5 weight rod with weight forward line will do the trick / your guide will provide the necessary leader and flies / if you choose to fish in front of your     cabin in the evening, advise your guide at the end of the day
